Freshwater algae "green water" culture

Excellent food for microfauna and infusoria like daphnia, moina, copepods, rotifers, and more. Needs aeration and strong lighting, and occasionally to be split and fed with fertilizer -- either 1mL of F/2 Algae Food or a few granules of Miracle-Gro.

Grows well in local soft water. Hardy culture that can grow very densely (see pictures). And can also be kept in the fridge for a week or two to pause growth while you're away on vacation.
